Electric 2000 Ltd., sometimes referred to as E2K by our clients, was incorporated in 1998 and initially provided design and contract services in the electrical field. The company has since grown through the years to now provide a comprehensive range of services in both the electrical and communications or low voltage industries. Our communications division is known as the INS Group (Integrated Networking Services Group) and successfully extended our services to include all types of communication cabling services.

Project Teams
Our company maintains a highly skilled and experienced group of project management, supervisory and administrative personnel. We ensure that only experienced and trained trades persons perform all of our installations and service. We are equally committed to the development of particular individual skills that are required and the need to deliver these skills with a teamwork attitude and approach to construction and service. We also ensure that our teamwork model goes well beyond our own technicians and must also involve the client, our field and office staff, as well as engineering and all sub trades and suppliers. We’ve realized that this level of teamwork can only be achieved through open communication and clear direction. We pride ourselves on our ability to bring all these components into an efficient and effective team.
Experience
The projects we undertake include design build or pre-engineered projects, and are in the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors. Clients include a wide range of industries, corporations, private developers, entrepreneurs, crown corporations and all levels of government. We have also networked with other trades in the industry which enables us to provide a comprehensive or all-inclusive service package.
Kerry Drul (Owner), Jim Worton (General Manager), and Michael Roberts (Manager of the INS Group, Safety Co-Coordinator & Project Manager) bring a combined 63 years of managerial and technical experience and expertise in their respective fields. Training
We not only ensure that we employ well trained professionals, we also ensure that they remain current with the new technologies and procedures that are inevitable in this ever changing environment. We accomplish this through continued education provided by professional educators, manufacturer training and in house training. We also understand that regardless of the level of training we provide; our service and install teams can only be as good as the tools and materials used to complete the work. This understanding ensures that we provide all of our staff with the appropriate tools including a well stocked service vehicle, and that they use only the best manufactures and materials. We will not sacrifice quality and customer satisfaction for lower cost materials.
COR Certification
We are a COR Safety Certified company. We strive to implement and improve an effective safety and health management system to reduce incidents, accidents and injuries as well as their associated human and financial costs. Since our enrollment in the COR Safety Program we have averaged above 85% audit scores. We believe in safety first and very committed to our safety program!
